Charles Williams rented a Sony a7IV camera with Sony 24-70mm f2.8 lens on 4/28/24 on Sharegrid for a one day rental to be returned the following morning. Since the same package was booked by one of our regular renters and she lived closer to him we sent her to pick up the package from him on the day it was supposed to be returned. Charles told her to meet her at the Boca Mall at 1pm and never showed. Every check in he kept adding more time saying he was in an Uber his friend called him. After 2 hours when our renter told him she had to leave he texted her saying he left the camera in the Uber. He hasn't picked up the phone or texted back since, refusing to return our calls or texts. We are currently in the process of filing a small claims case against him.
